A unique blending of knowledge management and medical informatics, the Department of Knowledge, Informatics and Translation (KIT) at the Indiana University School of Medicine supports a diverse cadre of Regenstrief medical informatics and IU library faculty dedicated to teaching the evidence of medical practice and a wide range of medical informatics knowledge and skills, doing research around improvements in clinical care through decision support and other medical informatics utilities, and enhancing the health of its patient populations, both locally and globally through innovative medical informatics practices.
